Kristen

Look who's sleeping in a big girl bed! Kristen was moved out of her incubator into a regular bassinet yesterday afternoon and is doing a splendid job of maintaining her temperature. And, notice any other significant changes in her appearance? (Aside from that self-inflicted scratch on her left eye?) She pulled out her feeding tube yesterday morning! But since she was doing so well with her feedings, her pediatrician changed her orders accordingly, allowing every feed to be taken from breast and/or bottle! We are so proud of her, and are so hopeful that we may be bringing her home sooner than we expected. Darren and I were able to visit her for a long while yesterday afternoon, providing ample opportunities for photos. :) I couldn't decide which of these were my favorite, so I decided to just post them all. (The last three were actually taken today.) Enjoy!

Hooray for Kristen! I can't wait to hear of her homecoming. All of the pictures are adorable. I always love the daddy ones. (Aren't dads with their babies an adorable sight?)
Thanks for keeping us posted.

Hi, Melissa - I am so glad you posted all of the pictures. I can see why you would have a hard time deciding which ones were your favorites! What a little doll - she is so darling! I'm happy that she is doing so well and that there is the possibility of bringing her home sooner than you had anticipated. It is so nice to hear that your mom is there to visit and to give you some help - tell her hello! . . . Aunt Martha

What a wonderful bunch of photos! She is beautiful! It makes me so happy to hear how she is thriving. The third picture down looks like she is getting good and plump. Those little arms and legs are tiny, but by no means scrawny. I think about you all daily and pray for you over and over. God bless you all!
