You Know You're A Mom...

...when you can serve dinner, eat a meal, load the dishwasher, take out the garbage, start some laundry, and help your two year old into her pajamas--all while holding your fussy, clingy, 17 pound nine month old on one hip.

Recently, my husband did a ruck march with 20 pounds strapped to his back in a nice frame with padded shoulders. I wasn't really impressed. He was upset by this and wanted to make me do the same thing. I said, "Honey, I spend all day with a 20 pound baby on my hip!"

Ah I remember those days so well. I amazed myself at what I could do with one hand.

One thing you left off of your list is what you do when you're out in public with the baby and you need to go to the bathroom. Now that's a challenge!
