One Sure Cure

There are some days (like today) that just find me feeling down.

Sometimes a good cry helps. (Today it didn't.)

Sometimes a scoop of chocolate ice cream topped with extra crunchy peanut butter does the trick. (No such luck today.)

But I've found that one of the best remedies to beat these blues are Meghan's big, slobbery, open mouthed kisses. They work like a charm...every single time.

Sorry you had a down day, dear. I can understand. For me the illness thing got me down today and I finally cried. It is gettng so old. But yes the sweet baby kisses and snuggle always help.

You weren't the only one who had a down day! A mom in Minnesota joined you! What pulled me out of it was just breaking free from the confines of my kitchen (yes, there were dishes that needed to be washed and a floor that needed sweeping) to just go outside already and enjoy the fresh Fall air.

That did the trick. Even my two-year-old's going up on the neighbor's deck and smashing their ceramic bird didn't faze me! (The neighbor was beautifully gracious about it, by the way.)

Have a blessed weekend!

Aren't kid kisses the best? They love with their whole selves, they hold nothing back, especially the slobber!! My 4 1/2 month old is now kissing, and I love it!! You are in my prayers, God Bless you!

Okay, I'm getting weepy just reading that post. Yes, baby kisses are most definately a sure fire way to beat the blues. She is so cute!
BTW, if the ice cream doesn't work, you can pass it on this way. ;-)

I know just what you mean! Amy loves to give those same open-mouthed, slobbery wet kisses and they are the most wonderful showing of love imaginable. I'm sorry you had such a down day, but I'm glad that Meghan was able to lift your spirits with her sweet kisses. :)
