Anyone care to come for coffee?

Mine would be decaf, of course.

But I seem to be having one of those days (or one of those weeks, rather) where I'd really love some chatty, warm, and companionable adult females around the house with me. I miss my mom. I can't wait to see my sister-in-law at Thanksgiving. It's been months since I've seen my best friend (through no fault of our own...she lives out of town). And I'm just really craving the company of some like minded ladies around here. To distract me, or maybe save me from myself. (Would you believe I spent all day yesterday rearranging our living room furniture?! By myself! What right minded pregnant woman does that?!)

Oh why, cyber friends, are you all so far flung? I miss you, and I've never even met you. Does that make me crazy? Or is it maybe just some more of those pesky hormones acting up? :)

Hope you're all having a splendid day. I'd invite you over in an instant if I could!

You are not crazy! And the pregnant woman who rearranges furniture is the same pregnant woman who pregnant with her first decides to rip up every bit of monkey grass in the front yard - not an easy task even when not pregnant! :))

I would be there with you in a New York minute if I could. Private jets would sure come in handy. Brian was reading about something going on at White Sands the other day - some Orion testing or something. It made me think of you. I wish you were here. But if you were I'd make you quilt!!!! And of course you could drinks loads of coffee with me!

I love you bunches. I WILL - get that WILL - meet you someday!

Pour me a cup of decaf as well! Texas isn't that far away from you! Wouldn't it be fun to meet half way? Where would that put us? Lubbock maybe?

Yeah, aren't several of us just in the neighboring state? Steven always reminds me that El Paso is the halfway point to California :-/ If I just weren't in the east part of the state, I'd be there in an instant! Hope you have a great weekend!

Dude. You can always call me. I'm off at three on tuesday.

I think a lot of pregnant women rearrange their furniture, 'cause I've seen it on tv. They put weird things on tv. Unusual, sure, but not unheard of.

I totally understand missing our cyberfriends. That is exactly what happened to me when I started my journal.

I rearranged every room in my house many times with all of my pregnancies...it sure does feel good!

I'd come if I lived closer. It's just that I'd drink tea, not coffee. But, judging from all your great baking photos, it wouldn't matter what I'd drink, I'd just eat your yummy food :)!

I would be there in a minute if I lived closer. I have always dreamed of making a visit back to El Paso to see my old school that I taught at and see my supervising teacher. We could make a vacation out of it and see you guys as well. But, now that will have to wait. Europe first. Someday I will meet you guys. What fun all of the kids would have. :)

I miss it, too, Melissa. Believe me, it can't just be crazy pregnancy hormones--it has to at least encompass crazy post-pardom hormones too! ;)

I would LOVE to come over for coffee on a fall afternoon. Ooooo how nice that sounds. You are such a sweetheart and, like Celeste, I WILL meet you someday and hug you in person! I think you and Darren would be such wonderful friends for Steve and I to hang out with. Do you feel a move to central Washington calling your name? No? Oregon? Idaho?

Love you!

I have days like this ALL the time. They are even worse when you're over-caffeinated. ;)

PS. Know that I always keep some decaf beans on hand for special guests like your sweet self. You're always welcome!

That's what drove me to my sister's for one night this past weekend. I just really needed to be with her.
Women need women!!
For that matter, men need women too. "sigh" What would the world do without us?!?

I'd love to come, too! (I'll take tea, along with Amy). And I also find it impossible to resist rearranging furniture while pregnant. :-)

I feel the same way all the time. I crave, and need, the company of other like minded women, wives, and mommies. I'm here, should you need me! I've missed coming to visit you via cyberspace.
